The Port Elizabeth Engineers Association was founded in 1926 as the Port Elizabeth Engineers Association and later changed its name subsequently to the Eastern Cape Engineering and Allied Industries Association (ECEAIA) in 2014 and is registered as an employers’ organisation, which is federated to the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of Southern Africa (SEIFSA).
The Eastern Cape Engineering and Allied Industries Association (ECEAIA) represents employers engaged within the scope of the Metal and Engineering Industries Bargaining Council in the Eastern Cape region.
