Tafadzwa (Taffie) Chibanguza

Chief Operating Officer

Tafadzwa (Taffie) Chibanguza joined SEIFSA on the 1st of March 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. He was previously employed as an Economist at the Minerals Council South Africa. Prior to the mining sector, he worked as a Senior Economist at SEIFSA and a Technical Wealth and Investment Analyst at Rand Merchant Bank. In the mining and metal sectors his broad focus areas include formulation of mineral, industrial policy, and micro/macro-economic impact assessment modelling. He holds a Bcom Economics and Econometrics degree from the University of Johannesburg, a Bcom (Honours) Degree in Economic Policy from the University of Witwatersrand, and a Master of Commerce Degree in Economic Policy from the University of Witwatersrand and is scheduled to complete a Master of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in 2022.

Palesa Molise

Palesa Molise is an Economist, registered with the Professional Local Economic Development programme. She has extensive experience in the industry, and in-depth knowledge of complex economic concepts in research, econometrics, economics and finance. Part of her role is to facilitate workshops on economic subjects, including the ‘Theory and Calculation of Contract Price Adjustment (CPA)’. In addition, she provides contract pricing advice to both buyers and suppliers on matters relating to CPA, and structuring their CPA clauses, utilising the SEIFSA Price including and Index Pages (PIPS).

Eleen Snyman

Economics and Commercial Advisor

Eleen Snyman joined SEIFSA in March 2013 as an Economics and Commercial Advisor within the Federation’s Economic and Commercial Division, and is currently studying towards a Bachelor of Social Science (B.Soc) through Boston City Campus. Eleen has more than 15 years’ experience in trade and economic related matters and also assists in the daily compilation of the SEIFSA Price & Index Pages (PIPS). Part of her role at SEIFSA entails facilitating the Theory and Calculation of Contract Price Adjustment (CPA) workshop, advising clients on the buying and supplying side of contracts on matters relating to CPA. She also assists clients with structuring their CPA clauses, using the SEIFSA PIPS. Eleen possesses commendable and exceptional customer service attributes and is increasingly gaining an understanding of intricate macro-economic dynamics, enabling her to effectively add value to the industry.
