In a matter of weeks, coronavirus has changed the world of work and the sphere of learning and skills development. It has challenged individuals, employers and workers to adapt to online modalities in all spheres of life. In this webinar, SEIFSA trainer Cobus Cato will explore how COVID-19 is specifically impacting training and development of employees and work-based learning (WBL) programmes and how it affects Skills Development in general, and specifically, what you, the employer should know about the SETAS, Grants, Training Committees, Employment Equity, and Skills Development Compliance and Maintaining BBBEE skills Development Points and the Skills Development Levy, during the COVID 19 response period.

The presenter

Cobus Cato is Training Specialist & Skills Development Facilitator – this means that he is a expert regarding anything resulting in a skill, competence or qualification. I primarily provide the full function of a SDF to organisations as well facilitating training for individuals within an organisation. I assist organisations with their accreditation if required and all development of learning programmes such as Apprentices, Experiential learners and Candidate engineers, Interns and Learnerships.
