About the Seminar

In an economy teetering on the edge, and multiple challenges for businesses in all sectors in South Africa, Skills Development, is now about competiveness and literally, the life or death battle for longevity and sustainability.

SEIFSA believes that we need a quantum leap in the thinking around Skills Development. This thinking starts with recognizing the power synergies, integration, and the opportunities they present. Only, once this thinking is in place will we be able to respond holistically and with agility to robotics, artificial intelligence, and other aspects to the fourth industrial revolution.

Legislation shapes our skills development sphere, but legislation only gives us the base from which to work. The challenge, industry-wide is to broaden our response as a matter of urgency.

SEIFSA’s Human Capital and Skills Development Division has gathered a wide range of subject-matter experts, industry specialists, and well known icons who will provide insight and foresight into the new world of skills in the dawning decade.

Join us as we plot our way forward as an industry.
