President and Board Chairman
Elias Monage is the Executive Chairman of Arabela Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Afika Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He is a member of the BRICS Business Council South Africa and has been Convener of the Black Business Council at NEDLAC and as the President of CAPES.
Mr Monage obtained a degree in Insolvency Law and Practice at Rand Afrikaans University (now known as the University of Johannesburg). He has also studied Telecommunication, Regulation Policy and Management at the University of the Witwatersrand and holds a qualification in Executive Coaching from the University of California in Berkeley.
Vice President
Nonhlanhla Ngwenya is the Managing Director of MphoNo Energies and a Board Member at KSB Pumps & Valves (Pty) Ltd. She has 16 years’ experience in senior management positions in the electrical and technology fields and nine years as a Non-Executive Director on various Boards.
Ms Ngwenya holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology degree, both from Pretoria Technikon (now the Tshwane University of Technology), as well as a Management Development Programme Diploma, a BSc Honours in Technology Management and an MSc in Technology Management, all from the University of Pretoria.
Vice-President
Andrea Moz is the Chief Executive Officer of Auto Industrial Group. He has 23 years’ experience in senior management positions in the metals and related industries.
A Chartered Accountant, Mr Moz holds a B.Com degree, with majors in Accounting, Business Economics and Commercial Law, from the University of the Witwatersrand and a B.Compt. Honours degree in Management Accounting, Taxation, Auditing and Information Systems from the University of South Africa.
Non-Executive Director
Tumi Tsehlo is the Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Fluid Control (Pty) Ltd. He has 23 years’ experience in senior management positions in the electrical and technology fields, was the Managing Director of the South African Mint Company for seven years and has served on various other Boards.
Mr Tsehlo holds a BSc degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
Non-Executive Director
Ernst Volschenk is a Shareholder and the Operations Director at Reinforcing Steel Contractors (Pty) Ltd. He holds a B.Com degree from the University of Pretoria and a Managers’ Programme Diploma from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
Mr Volschenk has almost three decades’ experience in senior management and related positions in the agricultural, mining, construction and export sectors.
Non-Executive Director
Honey Mamabolo is the Managing Director of The South African Mint Company (RF) (PTY) Ltd. She was previously Chief Executive Officer of Thebe Unico and has 20 years’ experience across various economic sectors, including mining, retail banking, energy, development finance and manufacturing.
Ms Mamabolo holds a B.Eng degree from the University of Pretoria and Certificates in Project Directing (PM Ideas), Strategy and Change Management (Regenesys Business School) and Financial Management (University of South Africa).
Non-Executive Director
Ryan Haynes is a Human Resources Practitioner at Frigoglass South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Mr Haynes holds a National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Tygerberg Institution (University of Stellenbosch), a Management Development Programme Diploma from the University of Stellenbosch and a Diploma in Professional Development Assessment from BIOSS.
He has 16 years of experience in managerial positions, including in corporate governance and transformation.
Operations Director
Lucio Trentini joined SEIFSA in 1990 as an Industrial Relations Advisor. Over the last two decades, he has been involved at management and executive level at SEIFSA and has been actively involved in the leadership of the federation.

Chief Financial Officer
Rajendra Rajcoomar joined SEIFSA in May 2014 as a Chief Financial Officer. He has previously worked as Financial Manager for DPI Plastics, Chief Financial Officer at the FoodBev SETA, Financial Manager at Phambili Wasteman and Financial Accountant at Unitrans Freight.
Rajcoomar holds a B.Com in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Durban-Westville, a B.Com Honours in Business Management from the University of South Africa, a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the Rand Afrikaans University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Human Capital and Skills Development Executive
Sumaya Hoosen joined SEIFSA on 1 June 2020 as Human Capital and Skills Development Executive. She holds a Diploma in Training Management from Damelin College, an occupationally directed ETDP Certificate from DIONYSIS and a BCom degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of South Africa.
She has previously worked as HR Generalist and Skills Development Facilitator at AMKA Products, Skills Development Facilitator at Consol Glass, Organisational Performance Manager at Sephaku Cement, Head of Human Resources and Administration at Gear Rail SA (Pty) Ltd and Head of Organisational Development, Learning and Development at Denel Aeronautics SOC.
Industrial Relations & Legal Services Executive
Louwresse Specht holds a LLB from the North West University and an AMBA-accredited MBA from the North West University Business School. She was previously employed as group legal counsel in the road freight, logistics and commodity trading industry, where her duties included compliance management, IR management, employment law matters, commercial law matters and company secretarial duties. She also practised as an attorney, specialising in corporate law, commercial litigation and trial advocacy.
Specht has an insatiable curiosity in understanding business needs and learning about the business environment. She is an avid problem solver who strives to find the best suited, economical and strategically sound solutions to any challenge.
Acting Marketing, Sales and Communications Executive
Nuraan Alli is passionate about business development. Her depth of experience and knowledge gained working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Department of Trade and Industry and running her own business places her in the ideal position to influence and manage stakeholder relationships to facilitate business growth and prosperity. She has a strong marketing and communications background which she has applied to developing business and marketing objectives in a variety of industries. She has been at the forefront of driving SIEFSA’S digital marketing growth strategy.
Alli joined SEIFSA as Sales Manager in 2016. Over the years she has acted in the capacity of Marketing and Communications Manager as well.
Alli holds an BA Hons Comm (RAU), MAP (WBS), and she is currently completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration ( PGDBM), MANCOSA.

Marketing Manager
Mark Lotter is a Marketing and Communication professional. He has more than 18 years of experience working within the private and non-profit sector. Lotter holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics and Communication from the University of Canberra (UC), a Professional Designation in International Trade and Commerce from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Cape Town (UCT) Graduate School of Business (GSB), a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from the Ogilvy Digital Marketing Academy (ODMA), and a Fundamentals of Fundraising from the University of Indiana.
Lotter has been with SEIFSA from November 2017; prior to that he worked in the financial sector, as Marketing Manager at NMG Benefits, the Non-Profit Sector, as Marketing and Fundraising Manager at the Impumelelo Social Innovations Centre, and the Impumelelo Innovations Awards Trust based at the Institute for Democracy of South Africa (IDASA), and for a Leading Public Affairs Agency, Corporate Image.
A self-described “Digital Native” and “Cricket nut”, Mark enjoys the challenge of communicating on behalf of one the most strategically important industries in South Africa.

Industrial Relations Manager
Michael Lavender holds the position of Industrial Relations Manager. Joining Seifsa in 1991, Michael has extensive knowledge and experience in labour law and advises and trains companies on the Main Agreement and on all aspects of Industrial Relations and labour law. He is also the lead employer negotiator for the Lift and Escalator Industry.
Key duties include – chairing hearings in the areas of disciplinary, incapacity and grievance matters – representing companies in retrenchment consultations, disputes, strike action, as well as at the CCMA and the Bargaining Council in conciliation and arbitration matters.
Michael has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree, majoring in Industrial Psychology and Economics and also holds an Expert Negotiator Certificate issued from (GIBS).

Industrial Relations and Legal Services Manager
Vuyiswa Miya is Industrial Relations and Legal Services Manager at SEIFSA. She has extensive experience as an Admitted Attorney and has worked for various law firms handling matters pertaining to contractual disputes, drafting contracts, providing legal advice, appearing in the CCMA and bargaining councils, prosecuting and chairing disciplinary hearing. She holds an LLB degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, both from the University of Johannesburg.
She has been invited by the University of Pretoria and University of Potchefstroom to lecture on Labour Dispute Resolution for their Practical Legal Studies course. From time to time she also participates in the annual case law update seminar presented by a leading labour institute.

Finance Manager
Mariaan De Jager has been employed by SEIFSA since 2015. She hold a BCompt Degree for UNISA, and has more than 20 years of experience in the Accounting and Finance fields.
Previously , she has worked for Chubb Security in various financial positions including Accountant, Branch Admin Manager, Regional Financial Manager Assistant. Prior to that she worked at South African Meat Industry Company and International Meat Quality Assurance as Accountant.

Associations Manager
Theresa Crowley is the Associations Manager and is responsible for the overall management of all the Associations federated to SEIFSA. Theresa is customer centric (she was awarded Employee of the Year in 2018).
Crowley joined SEIFSA on 25 February 2004 as an Associations Administrator and was promoted to Associations Manager in 2010. She holds a Diploma in Secretarial/Business Administration (Anchor Business College), a Certificate in Labour Relations Management (RAU – now University of Johannesburg) and successfully completed the Management Development Programme (Unisa) and is also a member of the Institute of People Management.
Prior to joining SEIFSA, Crowley worked for the South African Forum of Civil Engineering Contractors (previously known as the South African Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors (SAFCEC)) as an Industrial Relations Officer.

Economist
Palesa Molise joined SEIFSA in August 2020 as an Economist within the Federation’s Economic and Commercial Division. She holds an M.Com in Local Economic Development from the University of Johannesburg.
Part of her role at SEIFSA entails facilitating various workshops including the Theory and Calculation of Contract Price Adjustment (CPA) and Exports Development. She also advises clients both on the buying and supplying side of contracts on matters relating to contract price adjustment, and assists them to structure their Contract Price Adjustment clauses, using the SEIFSA Price and Index Pages (PIPS). Prior to joining SEIFSA, Ms Molise worked for Sanlam and Pearson Institute.

Marketing & Sales Director
A Human Capital specialist with extensive corporate and public sector experience. He has worked at a senior level within various organisations and has implemented a range of strategic interventions to maximise people and organisational development, as well as to enhance bottom-line returns. He is an experienced, internationally accredited coach and change management specialist.
His organisational roles include Senior Manager and Head of Department positions in the HRand training and development divisions of the following large corporate organisations: Scaw Metals; Murray & Roberts, Mondi, Deloitte Consulting, City Power and Rand Water. Preggy is a Chartered HR Professional with the South African Board for People Practices(SABPP), and he holds the following qualifications: BCom (Human Resources); BCom (Honours) (Human Resources Development); Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Advanced Programme in Labour Relations.
