SEIFSA’s Fundi Training Centre is now open for the June 2010 intake.

Institutional training normally takes 24 weeks (apart from millwright which is longer) and covers the entire apprentice training schedule for the following trades:

• Electrician
• Fitter
• Fitter and turner
• Instrument mechanician
• Millwright
• Tool, jig and diemaker
• Turner
• Welder

The training centre also offers customised training interventions tailor-made to meet the needs of industry.

Fundi holds full Merseta accreditation as a training centre and a decentralised trade test centre and is currently awaiting accreditation from the CHIETA as well.
